My biggest fear joining the Empowered Mums 10 Fat Loss Week Challenge, was that I’d lose motivation and fail to stick to the plan. But that didn’t happen at all! I managed to keep super motivated and engaged the entire 10 weeks.
The meal guide was really simple to follow. In the weekends it was a bit harder, but they encourage you not to worry too much, and to keep things as simple as possible. This helped a lot.
The group training sessions and online workouts were amazing! I was being motivated and encouraged to keep going, without feeling harassed or pressured to do anything outside of my abilities. This makes it suitable for all and any fitness level.
Tash was a great coach and trainer! Her style was perfect for me. She helped me to keep trying hard, but in a very friendly and kind manner.
I was hopeful for results, but there’s always those lingering doubts. I never thought I’d be capable of achieving what I did.
How it has affected my life
Through all this, I definitely see myself in a new, healthier way now. I never thought I could do or achieve what I have. Also, I’ve learned that being healthy is not as restrictive as I once thought.
Advice for others
What I’d say to others is: don’t go on crazy diets, and don’t expect instant results. It’s better to build a good habit that you can maintain for the rest of your life. I keep telling my husband how this is an achievable goal within our time and commitments, and how much I know he will enjoy it too. It’s great for families.
